COURTHOUSE NEWS- NEVADA REPORTER

July 2021 - May 2022

Reported and published multiple stories per week on national, regional and local news. Covered topics ranging from major court rulings and case filings, criminal proceedings, politics, the economy, science and extreme weather events including wildfires. Conducted document retrieval and daily court coverage of state and federal courts across the West Coast.

Worked across text, TV and radio platforms to produce compelling stories on myriad topics. Built essential reporting skills in writing, interviewing and researching. Worked successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom using tools like content management systems, Adobe suite, Slack, professional audio and video recording equipment and more.
